Look what the Postman delivered!

3 x Bliss Charm Packs
3 x Fandango Charm Packs
1 x Maison De Garance Layer Cake
and
12 Fat Quarters of 12 Days of Christmas

I so love sending presents to myself, I love the anticipation
of receiving yummy goodness in the mail.

Does anyone have any good ideas of what to make from a Layer Cake??
I'm in need of some inspiration.

If your like me they may have to sit on the shelf for a while so I can
enjoy the eye candy before
cutting into them.
Its an obsession!.....I know..I KNOW!
I'm sure I'm not the only one, I promise to get treatment soon.

Happy Quilting!

I see you have were watching the jelly roll sampler quilt along. Maybe the next one - the layer cake quilt along might be something you like. Other than that there are the Anka's Treasures books , and also Moda Bake Shop.

Mandy, I'm worried about you....sitting there staring at your material! lol. You sound a whole lot like me. You enjoy that fabric girl. Kind regards, Anita.

I just ordered 3 Bliss charm packs yesterday (with a bit of other stuff too :o) !!!
Go to the Moda bake shop here http://www.modabakeshop.com/ Mandy, they have some really great patterns for layer cakes and charms too. Have a look at 'Charming Squares', I think it's the third down at the moment, that's what I'm making with my bliss. Sigh, can't wait for it to get here....

Hi Mandy
Getting parcels is the best isn't it?
Rita has made a Layer Cake quilt - http://www.redpepperquilts.com/p/patterns.html see if you like it. It just uses a layer cake and a solid fabric.
Cheers,
Karen
