Beary Nice

As a lover of Bears, with a healthy collection at that, about 10 years ago

I hand painted these bears in a folkart class and then made it into a quilt. The bears are from a book by Annete Stevenson and some are not.

I love the detail on each bear and this quilt has become a family heirloom as my two daughters fight over whose getting this one.

 

This one is my favorite, I love her black paton shoes and roses in her hat.

  

  

I really enjoyed painting these bears, but it did take about six months to complete

so it was a big project.
