Bloggers Quilt Festival - Spring 2011


Thanks Amy for hosting Spring 2011 Quilt Festival, which is held bi annually

I made this quilt at the request of a lovely lady named Pam
who asked if I could make a quilt to be Raffled for  CIKA (Cancer in Kids) at
the Royal Childrens Hospital here in Melbourne.


It took me about 3 months to make and quilt and I was very pleased
with the way it turned out. It also used a good lot of my scraps up and raised about $5000 for the hospital which was so amazing.

    Hi Mandy, The quilt you made is so gorgeous and the simple way the animals are made is what really attracts you to the quilt. What a kind jesture to make the quilt to raise money. It gives you a warm feeling to know that you have helped people. Good on you. Kind regards, Anita.

    I love this quilt. Humpty Dumpty reminds me of a quilt my grandmother made in the 50's. Thanks for the memories.
